This glitch may get scammed a lot throughout stuff, and I bring the info here.
If you're device is a 64-bit device (so iPhone 5S and up) and runs iOS 8 and up, then the glitch can be caused. (
DO NOT TRY THIS YOURSELF, YOU WILL REGRET IF YOU DO)
Now, this is not going to permanently brick your device, it will take some physical repair or you have to wait for the battery to die off (WARNING: Battery will get very hot and may be damaged in the process of dying)
How it's done:
You go into your settings app and go to General > Date and Time
Disable "Set Automatically" if enabled.
Go to the date and scroll back in time until you get to 1970, then go to January 1st
Restart your iDevice.
Boom it's bricked and you have to do physical repairs and regret what you done.
