Any spider that large has a venom that's toxic enough to require medical treatment (stuff won't necessarily kill you, but you'll be in a hell of a lot of pain), and I don't store anti-venom at home.

You're going to need to buy a second home to store all your anti-venom for those Australian critters.

I have these guys around my place quite often, they're great for killing annoying insects. Their bite isn't really dangerous to humans so I don't usually kill them

Not surprised; kind of wish I took a picture of the carcass, but it was in separate pieces all over the floor.

I was considering keeping it as a pet in a box, but I didn't get to it first.

I would never use spray for anything larger than a fly; it just seems to irritate whatever you're trying to kill.
