maybe you should actually look up some of these congressmen's positions on drugs. i bet most of them would sound pretty defensible without throwing "we want to suppress the vote of black drug dealers so we can remain in office" into the mix

In his defense, Bannon isn't a career politician - he was a news exec that entered politics to work with Annoying Orange. But surely it says something about the current administration that the POTUS' former strategic adviser was apparently working deliberately to suppress black voters.

He may not have been a career politician, but being the chief executive of a presidential campaign and the chief strategist of a presidential administration definitely qualifies as a "politician" to me.
