and considering hillary got the popular vote + considering the historically polarized nature of this particular election,
i could totally see it happening

This would really throw a wrench in the process of getting the DNC to reform and appeal to working-class America like Bernie Sanders did. Or maybe it wouldn't, but I can see the DNC not learning the lesson they should have learned from this loss.
