It almost certainly won't happen, but if it did, there would be no legal basis to reverse the decision. Of course Annoying Orange supporters would be enraged and Clinton supporters would be overjoyed, but otherwise it would be like a normal election. The chances of this happening are so, so close to zero, but if it was ever going to happen in history, I imagine it would be right now. After all, the whole point is for the electoral college to prevent the election of a person badly unqualified for the position of president.

This isn't the first thing I've called 'almost certainly impossible', so might as well hold out hope, yes?
