I doubt you read it, but the article at the end of that chain is actually a very well reasoned piece, and I completely agree with it. child enthusiasm is one of the areas that suffers from the public's desire for uninhibited retribution rather than prevention and rehabilitation. There are no doubt a large number of people out there suffering from the disorder that are too afraid to seek help due to the threat of retribution. I know it would never happen, but if we could collectively move past the stigma we would be much more able to actually
prevent instances of child molestation (an unfortunate irony).
