socialism =/= communism and, unless im mistalen, cuba was incredibly poor to begin with, so it wouldn't have worked out either way.

and if you want to get technical, there are currently 45 million americans living in poverty. that's more than the entire population of cuba.
26% of Cubans live in poverty (11.2 million people.) 45 million Americans living in poverty out of 319.9 thousand is about 7% of the population. The proportions are what matters, 0/10 bait.

american poverty is the name for when you don't have the money to buy 3 cars

Looking at his other posts in this thread, he's either really salty or baiting hard.

it's actially 14.5% of the population (http://www.alternet.org/election-2016/45-million-americans-live-poverty-you-wouldnt-know-it-watching-2016-coverage)
which is still incredibly awful. an 11% difference in poverty compared to cuba in a country that is unfathomably rich is certainly nothing to be proud of.

i mean the poverty threshold is $12k a year lol

its obviously an exaggeration but come on

thats not enough money to live off of, let alone support a family.

The average annual cost of living for a single adult with no children in the US is $28,457. That isn't nearly enough to live remotely comfortably, forget about having three cars.

cant live without my three cars

If you think $12k a year is anywhere near a livable wage, then you're beyond help. Good luck getting a loving car because after rent and utilities plus groceries come into factor, buying a car, paying off the loan, paying for gas and then getting insurance will put you into debt.

Good luck trying to get a better job with your bad credit, or getting higher education without plummeting into even worse debt hell.

i mean dude, if you're going to pay for gas and insurance for your 3 cars you are definitely going to go into debt

Don't even try to play this off as trolling, you're just going to embarrass yourself more.

this guy who is arguing altruism is the same person who said they don't care about the life of a "dime-a-dozen Syrian"

you understand nothing about altruism
When did I say I was an altruist? Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about. Maybe you have brain damage, why don't you go get an MRI with your Obamacare? Oh wait, Obamacare doesn't cover those.
