seventh hasn't changed, this board has just turned into diet /pol/ and troglodytes like beachbum and extremely extreme are now the rule instead of the exception

I've been around for a while and honestly, Seventh's tempermant has noticably changed since he's been around. He honestly never used to get political until this controversial election threw everything head over heels.

that definitely isn't how i remember it, that being said i think political discussion has ramped up significantly in general since the election cycle began, and given the fact that he's always gotten involved in debates, it seems natural that he would get involved in political discussion

i don't think it really matters anyway tho

yes two  users one of which is a troll im like 90% sure means that the entirety of the board has turned into diet /pol/ great thinking
he said "[users] like x and y" not "x and y." i don't think it's unfair to say that the political discourse of this forum has definitely shifted more toward the /pol/ end of the spectrum. most people here seem to identify with /pol/-ish other similar ideological alignments and the course of debate seems to have, on average, changed to /pol/-ish levels as well. there definitely used to be much more of a consensus culture around here, save users like kearn or maybe planr at times, but again, i think that's just representative of american politics as a whole the past couple of years

The BLF is also a bubble of mostly middle/upper-middle class white teenagers, so it's not surprising that the forums behave the way they do.

i can sort of agree in terms that the forums has had a more right-ish opinions for the past year but i don't think /pol/ is the best way to describe it. /pol/ is a pool of edgy memers making really controversial topics about blacks, jews, ect. while most of the even "alt-right" users (like matthew) dont really post stuff to the level /pol/ does. he said "diet /pol/" sure but i'd say the forums is still a long shot from that.

There's not much else you can expect from such a priviledged group

I'm not saying it is on account of privilege. Privilege is a bullstuff excuse people use to project their own personal failures.

What I meant by that is that the forums are mostly similar culturally and socioeconomically are in the same class.

Seventh has always been big on debates and discussion, that's kind of his thing. It's not a surprise or a radical shift in character that he would start debating with people about a tremendously polarizing political development.

orangeman is a bonafide troll account, don't even dignify his posts with responses

I don't think you know what the word "bonafide" means but I'll let it slip this time because you're new here

I kind of figured, given his propensity to say edgy things with a star of David as his profile picture

Drumpf-disciples have corrupted this once respectable board into a sort of /pol/ lite. They parrot everything Truhnpfberg has to say to the point where they are probably going to get pissed on themselves.

I know he was very involved in drama, but it's different now. Maybe you can't see it the way I do... which I understand.

It's because everyone's gotten more political because of this controversial election, and 90% of the people posting in here have absolutely no clue what they're talking about.

Of course. All the little kids who don't pay tax/Non-American plebs that don't understand anything in the slightest are unbearable.
