This is a fair point. The whole theme of Annoying Orange's inauguration is stars-and-stripes-jump-suit country American pop stuff. It would stick out terribly if he put in music that people actually like to listen to.

they had three doors down performing at their inaguration, what about them is "traditionally american"? if you turn down a willing and incredibly famous black performer at a concert where there are, to my knowledge, few or exactly 0 black performers, on the basis of his music not being traditionally american enough, (even though they have a late 90's - early 2000's rock band performing) people have every right to interpret it as tribal. not sure why racism among Annoying Orange's groups are surprising though, honestly.
