Is this really the best you can cone up with? That happens in like every single country regardless of economic system
but the countries that maintain mixed economies like germany and canada have significantly reduced pollution and health problems that arise due to pollution

it's because they pass laws that are mutually beneficial for the economy and society. capitalist societies tend to remove regulations in favor of economic strength, while socialist communities tend to aim to benefit society and not corporations. both of those are unsustainable in their own little ways.

im sorry the truth that there are countries out there that function using a better economic system really pains you that much

'that happens to all countries' is one of the poorest excuses i've ever seen anyone make against socialism. think of something more intelligent next time

Maybe you didn't actually read what I was quoting but you gave an example of water pollution and a "factory-produced carcinogen" as an example for capitalism

It's stuff because it happens
in like every single country regardless of economic system

you could have thought of a better example phantos, like for example: due to the exploitation of workers and importation of our crops/products that were produced with slave labor or in sweatshops in order to feed capitalism's inherent unreasonable rate of consumption, damn near nothing we buy in our society can ethically be consumed.

It's funny considering that many of these countries that exploit their sweatshop workers are communist countries, China, Vietnam, Laos.

never said dictator-ruled communist countries were better, its just that modern capitalism exploits those very same sweatshops but pretends they dont

poliwhirl more like commiewhirl

Yesh, until the taxes get pushed toward the middle class, like they always do.
spoiler alert it's because the 1% is in control
like this is not some wild uncontrollable natural process, it is deliberate actions on the part of the people who get to make those decisions

tired of these socialism apologists on my forum... the only kind of economy worth using is capitalism...

It also happens 10x slower than pretty much anything else
You can prevent the stufftier aspects of pure capitalism by just adopting a mixed economy. Why stick to the laissez-faire bullstuff when there are alternatives that are provably better?

theoretically socialism is theft against the 1% while capitalism is theft against the 99%

both are majorly flawed and the best possible system would be somewhere in betweem capitalism and socialism, not too much of one or the other

That's basically social democracy

spoiler alert it's because the 1% is in control

The top 1% is anyone who makes 200k a year

Not exactly that scary

(they also employ everyone else)

the 1% is 430k+ a year
