I was called in for duty almost 4 years ago now. I got to go home before my group was even interviewed. It was for a civil lawsuit involving the collision of a bicyclist and a person who opened his car door.

Why the forget would they test for drugs tho. Its impractical due to the amount of time it would take and how much it would cost to administer a test to EVERY citizen

anyways I see it as a way to randomly test citizens to make sure they're not doing drugs. Like how on some military bases they randomly pull someone over every once in a while and search their vehicle, just because why not

Because it's a huge waste of taxpayer money. It's not the tax payers job to make sure people aren't doing drugs. Like I'm trying to think of a more ridiculous idea and nothing's coming to me

There is also a HUGE difference between pulling cars over in a military base verse randomly drug testing your citizens with other citizens money

It's a fair question.
In the UK you can't be a juror if you've previously been charged and ordered to undergo a drug test which is yet to happen.

It's not a large leap to question if they test you as part of your background tests.
