Author Topic: Would it be possible to make planes that look like there flying in formation?  (Read 683 times)

Like planes controled by one person, but theres 2 behind the actual controller and they follow every exact movement you do.
Or are attached invisbily and just made to look like there sperate planes.

sure, it'd be possible with advanced VCE probably
scripting too

If so i'd love to see someone make that.

You could make a massive model with several separate planes that are linked invisibly, yeah.

maybe try film bots. spawn them in a triangle formation then film each one flying up for a bit, and play them all together.

and then one of them does a roll and suddenly cluster forget

That would not look right at all.

would work if you're not doing much turning or such.
would be obvious the second the vehicle pitches or turns, though

i thought film bots vehicle support was unfinished when it comes to flying? he got the ground vehicles part but i didn't think he got the pitch part.

the mental image of the front one doing a barrel roll makes me laugh
