that makes zero sense
okay so one thing we know for sure about the universe is that it started off with all matter and energy completely evenly distributed. we know that for sure.
so if space was infinite, and matter was finite, we can use that property I used earlier (any finite number divided by infinity = 0) to calculate that the density would have to be 0. That is, density = mass / volume, mass is finite and volume is infinite.
