so im sure a 970 could do even better assuming your cpu is good

960 is all anyone ever loving needs.

Well, my cpu is an AMD FX 6300. I looked up a few things and I've heard it bottlenecks a 970. Should I just get a 970 and upgrade my cpu to something like the AMD 8350 instead?

Bottleneck is a stuffty word and the only time your getting it is if you pair 2006 tech with 2016 tech.
