And for the password I use for my day-to-day business:

So its going off the basis of hiwnlong is your password rather than the actual password itself?

Nope

Nope
are you sure about that? all i did was put in 60 a's

are you sure about that? all i did was put in 60 a's
-snip-
It probably that for longer passwords, but it does a bit more for short passwords.

...somehow, I don't think so.

Along with the fact you probably got that from xkcd, xkcd also proves such passwords are actually very secure. Unless, perhaps, you do a dictionary attack or something.

a password that is 60 characters long and can have a total of 26 possible characters in any position means that there is 7.9140881e+84 combinations
of course its going to take a while to try 7.9140881e+84 total combinations of a password that is 60 characters long
the algorithm on the website takes in account of numbers, special characters, and many other things included in the password that you enter. if you put in the 60 a's again but replaced 2 a's with a number and a special character, the time might triple or quadruple

so it doesn't just go off of how long the password is

Too many a's!  System cannot comprehend!
But it is probably because no one uses 60 a's as their password.
