Author Topic: Irk89's Ultimate Challenge  (Read 5038 times)

Chilling with Nitramj and Block Dole in the void section of the map, and making sitting parties.

Very much fun.

Recommend you try the challenge.

Normally, I would link to the other topic of the exact same name, post a picture of the search button, or say something about the fact that said topic is only on the second page and could be easily found without the search button. However, seeing how it is locked, I won't.

On topic:

Why was the challenge renamed, and why were the records reset? I know he transfered it over to another comp, or something like that, but if I still have a super checkpoint at the end, why were the records wiped?

The Rocky Mountain server is different, and different rankings. Irk put up a few servers with the same challenge, but different rankings for each server.

Ask Irk89, not me.

I set the records clean on the other 2 servers because the records on the normal server are...unholy.  Certain people, need not be mentioned, should spend some time outside.

So maybe this will give people another chance to make new records, or maybe these people will just come back and set these records again...

Yeah, that was fun. Loved the challenge, wherever the hell irk happens to be.

I'm considering creating another challenge, except this time it will be a "Doubles Challenge".  Meaning if you have no friends...you'll have a hard time doing this challenge :cookieMonster:

If i do produce this, it'll be created about 25 times slower than the original challenge because of school.

Any comments or concerns on the doubles challenge?

Yes, is it done yet? Or close to being done, or did you just start?

Haven't even started...Just pitching ideas.

Doubles challenge would be cool, but you should be able to spawn to it from an existing Ultimate Challenge, not make it another server...

doubles would suck.....no one would want to help. How about a bot challenge? doing /bot makes a bot in you (you can jump out of it) and deletes your old bot. this makes you think.

Doubles would be good co-op if pulled off right.
The ultimate challenge is great, I beat it today( however most of my time was spent on level 2 and 5)

I think if you made another challenge, it should focus a bit less on jumping, some more maze type things, ect.

Maybe monsters or something.

That gives me an idea.

Yes, less jumping more puzzel solving, but done in a way that after you beat it or see someone beat it, it isn't uber easy(ie, level 4), like something that randomly changes...

I remember Ephialtes had a 'moving platform' in RTB controlled by four buttons, you had to co-operate to get a person to the end to let both players out.

Players don't like co-operating much in Blockland. See any Team DM server with lots of people who don't know/like each other put together.

A Super Mario 64 moving platform comes to mind.

I have an idea for a co-op challenge, should I pm you irk?
