i'm not really sure how i feel about d2 probably being remade

on one hand i actually quite like the map and i'd love to see it getting a visual refresh, and it getting pulled out of active duty really does freshen up casuals and DMs quite a bit

on the other hand it's a map that everyone can run really well and remaking / refreshing the maps does tend to make them slightly less optimized


i guess only time will tell

it's not being remade. it's being updated so we can probably rotate faster and so it looks prettier. valve doesn't know what they are doing if they are remaking it.
