i played two comp matches today and had two very different experiences. the first was a very poor performance, toxic crybaby teammates who bitched at the most minor mistakes so i abandoned even tho i was topfragging.
the second one, i did pretty good, played a bit of strat roulette too, ended up losing but hey at least it was a fun experience instead of some stupid loving mexican 12yo kid screaming at me to do the dumbest stuff anyone can do in a 1v3 situation

So, uh this dude from my friends list invited me into a lobby full of Germans.  I was the only silver and they were all like GN's and MGE's.  I got kicked second round, and I got these lovely messages typical MG-MGE


Hes mad becuase we ended up playing on NA East servers instead of EU servers.  I don't see how this is my fault.

Oh hey another juice scammer.  This is an interesting scam attempt.  You see, he wanted me to sell an item on OP skins wayyyyy over priced.  He told me to get something called Steam Item Director or something like that.  What the plug-in actually did was send a fake trade offer disguised as one of the bots.  It worked for three people.

To be completely fair that did not do much. A lot of people can have access to a second phone number that is just as disposable as the smurf account in question.
"Hey let me use your phone so I can activate Prime Account, it's not even my main account so I don't give a stuff if you manage to gain access to it"
Italic part is the part you're not supposed to tell someone when asking for their phone for this purpose in case they had no interest in that to begin with, but you know.
This is particularly applicable to anyone in the family that could not give less of a stuff, too. I could Prime 3 smurf accounts in my household.

Prime is probably the best attempt on any game i've seen to combat smurfing/hacking.
Complaining about smurfs isn't gonna help you one bit and there isn't a whole lot they can do to stop smurfing, as you cant just ban someone for being good at the game early on.

I've seen much less smurfs/cheaters since prime. I've actually only seen 1 obvious smurf/cheater for a month of playing now.

this is true, there are a lot less smurfs/cheaters.  What is happening now is people are actually using prime accounts owned by other people to smurf, how desperate.
