its almost like you guys search for it
It's almost like children feel the need to tell everyone about a reference to UnderTale if the title contains a font (name) or says "Ruins" in the title.

sorry for doublepost :<

personally i get annoyed when i see tons of these kids trying to associate things that aren't related at all with undertale characters and spamming it.
People do this with all interests
See: the amount of non-blockland things with blockland characters in them

Yes, that's the image I was looking for. Thank you.

One wants to forget cartoon animals and one wants to forget cartoon girls (who are sometimes dressed as animals)

but nobody goes around saying "wow fake and gay they stole that from blockland"
headcrab pls

???
the only times i've ever seen that are garry's mod addons and source filmmaker

If I was younger and had less knowledge of the effects of stubbornly trying to spread a fandom to people who don't like it, I would absolutely be one of them.

I freeging love Undertale. No amount of weird fanpeople can change that now. I miraculously played it before being exposed to enough of them to mar the experience.

Leaving Undertale-related comments on unrelated videos is a way for people who share the interest to find each other. It seems like a natural human thing to do. I suppose that doesn't stop me from getting infuriated when people think anything with sharp corners and building mechanisms is related to Minecraft. Hmm.

You'd be surprised the amount of rage this community can spur in a youtube comment section.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

No one says "stolen" when other fandom stuff is used either so idk what your point is

Oh hey thanks for citing examples for me
Do this with, say, MLP models, and you'll see a lot of people whining. But it's OK to do with blockland models. The only difference here is you like one and not the other
Also, it's going to occur less with BL, simply because BL's community is much smaller

my sister used to be really into homestuck :(((((
now she's more into weird emo stuff, like there's this song she listens to and it's just this guy screaming about being "sick and disgusting"
like really SCREAMING. it is awful

idk what's worse
but she also knows I'm a furry apparently so she  c o n s t a n t l y  brings that up
she has to be put down

im sorry b

idk i think it's just that undertale made a massive splash and we're still feeling it. tbh the most cringy stuff i see is just from kids. most of the fandom stuff that i ever see on tumblr is just fanart and askblogs (often an excuse to make fanart), along with people that are just like "yeah that's a pretty nice video game."

it's not the worst, but its up there.
