When dog pounds are full they kill the dog. When prisons are full they spend another couple million to make a new one. How many prisons are we going to keep making?

No matter how wrong it may look, if someone is going to take a life, with no benefit to humanity but for personal enjoyment, have to evacuate the mortal world before they take more lives.

This isn't an eye for an eye, it's an eye for multiple.

Wait the death penalty isn't legal anymore? Wtf what happned to the eletric chair and firing squad and stuff...

In most(?) countries outside of ones in the European Union*, it is legal.

We're talking about whether the death penalty should be legal, not implying this is not the case anymore.

*One requirement of entering the European Union is to ban the death penalty.

unlike humans, dogs dont have a worldwide-enforced law of basic rights.

Also you're aparently advocating for the use of death camps in that statement

every first world country considers capital punishment a crime against humanity, which is the main reason why most states have been pushing to end it

This sounds like a good idea criminals for life in prison when the prison gets full get gun down to make room.

No its not thats awful. Life in prison is still right to life and not a death sentence.

The whole "make room for more prisoners/spending too much money" is pretty moot considering that less than 200 of the 7.2 million prisoners have faced the death penalty in the last 60 years. Also does anybody notice how suspect these brothers are to be advocating death penalty for the sole purpose of 'saving money'

Thats some psuedoholocaust stuff

Well if it's like the holocaust, they are going to save money til the gas bill arrives.

a life in prison is a much, much longer death sentence

That's honestly your perspective on prison. Some prisoners want to live their life out, not have it cut short by another human.

I'm going with no for countries like the US and Canada, but until prison technology gets to the point everywhere else where even in the worst possible case scenario nobody can escape; I'd reserve it for people who have escaped multiple times before and have no intention of leaving or staying in prison.

Some prisoners want to live their life out, not have it cut short by another human.

I don't know why someone would want to spend a lifetime in prison. I would die of the boredom.

I think these people only want to live for a chance to escape.

Why not give convicts the choice to go on deathrow, if they're so bored and fed up with prison? Isn't that better than sending them to their death without their consent or say?
