False dichotomy. There are tons of other gasses that can be used to create inert atmospheres. There's not going to be an extinction of smartphones because we're running out of helium.
even then, helium is so sparsely used for these products, it's mostly used on equipment that costs millions of dollars to manufacture a single item. Like oil pipelines, oil drills, MRI's, bunch of other stuff I don't feel like listing off.
None of which can cool stuff down as much as helium.
