i would probably just ignore it
i have to deal with a forget ton of unintelligent tourists while I work retail 5 days a week. i constantly get called a stupid stuff and a cigarette just because these new yorkers and virginians think i don't know how to do my job. I know it's different when you're working a job rather than just being out in public, the same rules apply to both situations, don't stoop to their level
