Author Topic: Anyone wish there were dance animations?  (Read 1991 times)

/Title.

Ever felt like this when you're on a server and there was club music playing? All you could really ever do is either bob your character up and down, or crouch moving backwards to do a weird type worm. At least, that s what I felt like.

Anyway, anyone ever wish for something like this?

i feel that the free range of random flipping and clicking that players already do to be enough, quite hilarious to look at sometimes

Don't you sometimes get sick of it though?

I find that turnleft(1); and clicking/moving forwards and backwards seems to be my own style.

Would be hilarious to see that dance move recreated on a real dancefloor.

yes, of all things, what we really need is a club penguin-esque dance button

the sideways walk anim is sorta a dance

sit-move glitch still works so you can do that to dance. some swing up and down in time to their feet moving, while others may do a sit-crouch worm dance

watch me whip();
now watch me findclientbyname(phanto).naenae();

You can get a fair variety of moves out of just the few movement animations we have. Although jumping always looks silly, because it's not possibly to just jump a little bit.

Get on the tree brick and jump in place, or you can jump off and continue holding the jump button to do several small hops while going in a direction, the effect will wear off once you lose enough momentum

Now if only there was a way to replicate that without having to use the tree brick

zone bricks can probably help you out here. iirc the mud brick limits jump height, but also slows horizontal movement.

Could make a playertype with a tiny jump height, but that's not really a solution when you just gotta dance!

anyone remember felipe's dancing blockhead video? lol
