Author Topic: daylight savings  (Read 610 times)

So I missed school over this stuff, here's how:

I got ready like normal, it was a perfectly normal monday. I get to the bus stop, and no one's there. I got there at 8:08, the bus is supposed to arrive at 8:09. The only reason that no one's there means that the bus must've come early, right? So I waited for two minutes, so I couldn't get chewed out for lack of trying, then walked back home. On the walk back home, I notice that it's rather bright, and less cars are on the road... the realization hit me like a truck, so I yelled "forget".

Why do we have this bullstuff again?

Because crops during WWII iirc is why it exists

It's loving stupid

Same. 27th, forward 1 hour at 1am. Then we're in BST until October.

Daylight Savings had to happen on the ONE DAY that I had to wake up really early during Spring Break. Had to get up at 6:00AM yesterday so it was like getting up at 5:00AM.

why not go to bed an hour earlier than normal lol

it would be neat if i could happen mid day so I could close up at 3:00 instead of 4:00
