The Lead Researcher shrieks in agony as Joshua continues giving him a nasty paper cut to the fingers. Despite all the torture Joshua has done, the Lead Researcher remains firm. Joshua is unable to continue torturing the Researcher any longer once Murderous Cop and Refticus chime in.

They caused this twisted stuff, Joshua. How are they your friends? They got your family killed, your companions killed, and nearly yourself on multiple occasions. Whike yes, some richards did tamper with the chip to cut out AH, it's their fault for letting you continue with the operation even when you were drunk and unable to actually consent. Refticus condemns Joshua and urges him to ally with Augmented Horizons while Murderous Cop tells Joshua to shoot himself again. Space remarks that the Lead Researcher could just remove the damn chip and deactivate MindHive.
