The problem with the 90' wall is that you can build a 90' ladder, or dig a 20' tunnel.

Pretty sure the old wall was just a fence.

He said about the height but I wonder how thick it would be.

A. Break your house walls. You don't need walls with that cheerful, inviting spirit.
B. Break your car doors and strip off anything that prevents people from getting in. You also don't need a key, or lock, etc.
C. Make sure you have no fence in your yard. In fact, take that loving mini-fence around your garden that prevents animals from getting in. You don't need it.
D. Help by taking down neighboring walls and fences in the neighborhood to help exploit them to the elements.
A. Mexicans are not the elements. They don't make you cold during the winter. They don't make you hot during the summer. They don't make you wet in the rain. And the walls are certainly not keeping out intruders. Just as drug smugglers, and other types of criminals could just go by boat or tunnel, home intruders could just go by door or window.
B. Again, your windows aren't going to keep anyone who wants into your car from getting into it. See: Any vehicle that doesn't even have a roof. As for the key/lock part, this has rarely stopped people, and is in no way comparable to a wall. It also hasn't stopped people from hotwiring.
C. There are people without fences, actually. And a fence has certainly never stopped anyone from just climbing it. As for protecting crops/flowers from wild animals... are you really calling Mexicans wild animals that are going after your plants? Are you really?
D. Wow, here you are actually comparing Mexicans to elements. Gosh this draft in this window... damn those Mexicans. It's all their fault.

But seriously, if you want to keep people out of an area, a wall is probably the least efficient way to do it.  Mine fields are tried and true but are indiscriminate and have the nasty side effect of providing explosives to your adversaries.  I would go with something like the Super Aegis 2.  A few thousand of them on towers could secure the entire border.  3km radius makes tunneling infeasible.  Back it up with surveillance drones to handle your non-lethal scenarios and you've got your "wall".

What America needs is a giant bubble, none can leave, none shall enter

I like what you're saying and I agree, but then you'd need to make more bullets and meet maintenance demands. It's probably going to be costly and then you have the tunnels too. Oh, don't forget the radar jammers and mexicans with the AK-47s with Gold Skins.

he just said a 3k radius would make a tunnel very impractical. Which i agree with. And Ammunition is actually very cheap to make. We're the US, we can pump out enough ammunition to blot out the sun.

Oh stuff I didn't read that part.

The legality of indiscriminately and automatically shooting at people several kilometers inside Mexico seems questionable at best. All it takes is 1 sightseer getting killed...

hate to break the news to most every one here, but the Berlin wall was built to keep the people in, In fact walls to keep people out are a very common thing, Annoying Oranges not saying eliminate travel between the U.S and mexico simply illegal travel, and i hardly see this as the worst thing Annoying Orange has said, he is right we need a wall to stop drugs, Illegals, etc. No matter how long it will take to stop said activity, it needs to start somewhere, if someone can make a valid point against what i'm saying so be it...

Why are so many people so misinformed about this? Because i'm just feeling that everyone's just doing this so they can get attention and get spoonfed.
