Author Topic: Petition to make BLF force admin verification before an account is made. (Read 3055 times)

Because of the recent issue with a random kid who is confirmed to be a former friend of Cannon666 posting information about him, I've thought of this. If we get this through, it'll be easier to find out the accounts with users that are Ban on Sight. As stated by him (perpetrator), he claims he will return with a new account. We must prevent this and ask to keep BLF safe and in no harm's way. So do you think we should enforce this rule or keep it the same?

I'm personally against this idea. It'd just be a burden for Badspot to have to do. We don't need to make his job any harder. Besides, the desperate woes and clawing of habitual problem users can be quite entertaining, especially when they get banned.

I don't think this will be good for baddy. There are new accounts everyday and it would be a hastle for the admins to do.

Didn't this used to be a thing? I remember way back in 2008 having to wait over thanksgiving for my account to get verified.

it's easier for them for us just to report the problem users when they show up

Back in v8 the forums did use to require admin verification lol.

OP is on his 3rd account. At least. If I had to approve every account manually he wouldn't even be here. Self awareness level zero.
