Author Topic: My computer is upgrading to windows 10 without consent.  (Read 8282 times)

I didn't ask for this. I feel raped by Microsoft.

Yep, Microsoft messes up once again.

If you seen same people have been seeing that fate.

Hope you enjoy your stay and hopefully you may be able to downgrade back

How do I cancel this I feel like it will corrupt my stuff if I turn it off

Only way to get out of that from the looks is to shut down.

I woke up a couple days ago to my computer rebooting and installing windows 10

I like win10 so far but I feel violated. forget you microsoft

I've never seen one of these what makes them show up
Not sure, I don't use W10. Probably an auto updater setting in the control panel.

I wonder if the feature that lets you go back to windows 7 would still work in this case

if it starts happening to me I'm going back to 7 immediately
I can't "downgrade" but if I just install windows 7 and use my spare windows key will I still have my stuff

I think that was on my old computer when I upgraded to Windows 10
It does
Yep this confirms!

For the past couple months it gave me the option to upgrade. Now it's forcing it on me.
