This whole thing just
reeks of attention seeking. Thankfully the kid was smart enough not to directly pander for sympathy here, otherwise the "real jackasses" here would've REALLY torn him a new one. This guy isn't depressed. He's just another teenager who has realized he can get stuff for free by pretending to 'unstable', kinda similar to how the weirdo school-shooter types in middle school thought they could get away with bad behavior because they're "not normal". Being "not normal" is basically the hottest new trend.
See this stuff:
You're so cool for making fun of me. If you can find my Facebook, post the message that I posted, its more descriptive as to how I feel.

Here is the facebook post have fun.
Right out the gate you can sniff it the forget out if you brown townyze it for even half a second. The dude is like 'forget you for exposing my attention scam, here's MORE material that I really hope you don't make fun of!!!!'. It's
blatant. What you've got going on here is basically a swindle, a controversial member like Squartle posts his bait on the internet to be the controversial dude that he is, and now Insert Attention Here sweeps in to finish the job by posting MORE material from his facebook (which we don't have access to) in hopes that he can wrench some more sympathy out of the wet-wipe boohoos on this forum. If he was really upset about his public steam description being posted on a public forum, he probably would've been like hey not cool man, rather than legitimately posting more of the material and then saying "hey thanks I'm going to go kill myself now". It's attention whoring at other people's expense, or as I like to call it, he's an "attention seeking missile".
If he didn't want people here to see it, he wouldn't put it in his steam profile description. Lets talk more about this Facebook post in detail though;
"I've been misbehaving, you can blame my depression for that."Nice one buddy, thanks for throwing the rest of the depressed community under the loving bus. But let's not pretend that Insert Attention Here did it on purpose. He's probably doing it subconsciously, but it doesn't make it any less stuffty. What we've basically got here is a very typical and average 1st world teenager who's parents (despite arguing) still provide everything for their incredibly entitled child. Now, you've given him the power of the internet, and so he's probably realized by now that people will usually sympathize with depressed people, give them attention, ect. So at this rate, he thinks he can get whatever the forget he wants by threatening to commit Self Delete if he doesn't get it. He probably doesn't KNOW he does this, he probably believes his own lie, but he subconsciously knows that he can get what he wants by guilt tripping people who wont give it to him for free.
"I'm lonely, neglected, un-cared about, I dindu nuffin to deserve this."I can't speak for Insert Attention Here's home life, because I have no idea what actually goes on. What I can tell you is that my parents also fight pretty much every night to the point where they even physically attack each other and break personal property. It's worse when they get drunk, which is basically every night, and I often catch the blame. And I don't go onto facebook and tell everyone that I want to kill myself because of it. Does that make me a better person? Probably not, but using your family problems as a means to swindle extra pity from other people isn't a cool dude thing to do.
"I can't catch a bird and my ex-girlfriend can't keep up with my negativity"Yeah, you hear that Stacy? It's YOUR fault that Insert Attention Here is about to pull the trigger. You better suck his richard or he'll kill himself, and you don't want to be a heartless bitch do you?
"My friends never invite me to stuff""Hey sorry Will, mom says I have to invite that weird kid from lunch over or he's gonna kill himself"
People don't want to get attached to someone who publicly talks about wanting to kill themselves. Or really just negative people in general. Maybe if you spent some time with your friends and getting to know them better, instead of trying to emotionally exploit them, they'd invite you out more.
"If I'm in a bad mood, just look at this post"Remember, if Insert Attention Here is treating you like stuff for no reason, you're obviously the starfish. Check your privilege, you don't know what it's like having to threaten everyone who wont give you attention with Self Delete 24/7.
Don't worry Insert. Hopefully in a couple years, this will all just be a bunch of embarrassing teenage antics from your past. If not, remember to do a backflip!
