Too some extent, this is true, however, not with the budget disney has. Disney doesn't really flop when it comes to movies. Plus they're filming them at the same time. Like episode 8 is being filmed now and I'm sure that it's overlapping with rogue one filming. Two separate movies, I'm not too worried.

It's about the death star plans being stolen by the rebels. A star wars story. It doesn't follow the main characters from the main films, but it does take place between 3 & 4. Call it what you want but I'll call it rogue one lol.
