Author Topic: "New York, Vermont ban official state travel to Mississippi over LGBT law"-link  (Read 6440 times)

if it was completely normal, it wouldnt have such a negative repercussion, a flat out crazy travel ban, and wouldnt have been on the news.
Nice fallacy

Like seriously, I know the travel ban is in protest of the law, but that still doesn't make it right.

stuff is being taken too far.

Nice fallacy
Oh boy fallacist's fallacy!

It's only seen such backlash because liberal fascists such as yourself can't tolerate someone else having a different opinion. You literally said you'd resort to aggressive violence if a business owner did not agree with you.

yo what if Google just suddenly knew about everyones loveual preferences and shut down for any LGBT people. you think people would just be like o yea google can do that its their business lol! it would be a loving riot lmao, its an asinine law

oh please i voted right wing this week, like you know me, foh

Incorrect, what he used is called a bandwagon fallacy, Infact you calling me out in itself is a fallacy fallacy lmao.

If you do want to get technical, what I did was a fallacy fallacy fallacy.
But calling out a fallacy fallacy in my case, wasn't in any way illegitimate because there was literally nothing else to respond to.
Your only argument was "its a fallacy".

Nice fallacy misidentification.

I never had an argument, I was just pointing it out.

No, him saying that I was using a fallacy fallacy was wrong, as I was just pointing out his poor argument, not saying it was incorrect.

I never had an argument, I was just pointing it out.
So a pointless post then.

And Google's reputation as a business would also tank overnight as well. People would stop using it outside of those cut off and advertisers would pull out in droves. That would be the repercussion for doing so but it should be their choice who to provide services to.

So a pointless post then.
I admit, I probably should have added more to it.

I think Google would be insane to do something like that, and I wouldn't respect them for their decision, but I still think it would be their right to do so. You shouldn't force someone to do something they don't want to in this case.

Not only their reputation, but also their income.
They probably do know a large chunk of people's loveual preferences. Probably part of how they target ads. Advertisers would be pissed if that ban happened.

you guys are aware i have already previously stated im not trying to force them to change? ive always seen the law to serve everyone equally was a fallnet to catch dumb businesses that wanted to perform corporal Self Delete. i just strongly feel that it should be there for that reason.

I have no issue with the law in Mississippi. Not that I think people should in general be refusing to serve LGBT people, but rather I believe that businesses should have the right to refuse service to anyone for whatever reason they choose. If people refuse service to people, it might hurt their business, but they should have the choice.
