Agreed with Jario. Homos should be grateful

pfft, i bet homos are gay too!!!

I feel as if banning travel to mississippi for any reason is deserving of a nobel prize

literally the worst state in the union
or anywhere below the mason-dixon line

Well, I take what I said back. The ban is helping them.

you were allowed to refuse customers for any reason anyways, the law is a pointless piece of garbage.
it's also a huge double standard. If there was a law for denying religious people service on personal beliefs there would be riots in the streets and nation-wide outrage. It's this kind of hipocrasy of bigoted idiots that people are against, not the law itself (which again is redundant garbage)

or anywhere below the mason-dixon line
Washington D.C is below it

petition to make panera bread a religious safe space

Washington D.C is below it
maybe we can make an exception or two

Washington D.C is below it
who would want to go there

its the city where nothing happens

idk if that was also mentioned but
they also passed a law in Mississippi(I THINK) where the government cannot take further action when a gay couple tries to sue a company for discrimination because they wouldnt serve them.
basically, when a storekeep refused service for a gay couple, the couple would go to the government to sue them for discrimination. the government now cannot take further action, i assume because people were abusing it.

You're putting too much trust in people to circulate information on a business' practices. Especially if it's something like a "mom & pop shop"
if they put up a sign on their front door that says "no ____" it's going to drive away customers regardless

if there's a law like that, which i've never heard about so idk, then it definitely would not survive in a federal court if it were challenged

i mean its the right of businesses to not serve people but if there is segregation that comes out of this that is a no-no.

why would you want family men making your cake if their family men anyway smh. i'd expect spit in your cake.

this law allows the exercising of religious freedom, no matter what you're up again. i.e, you can say that, as a christian, you will not serve a muslim. i mean, it goes against christian teachings, and you can go to hell, but it's your right not to serve people in a private atmosphere.

this would be different if public businesses/post offices/water fountain/public bathrooms/etc. could do this.

it'd be unacceptable if the law allowed the government to deny service to anyone
but it does not

The MS politicians are doing what they're supposed to by protecting the rights of Muslims, Christians, Jews, etc with this law. Can someone please explain what "official state travel" means and how it affects residents in VT and NY? trying to figure out how dumb their reaction to this new law is
