Author Topic: I try and join a certain server and it says: "Cannot verify Blockland ID"  (Read 1900 times)

I tried joining Rose the Floran's Deathrun, but it says it can't verify my BL ID.
This happens to a few servers but I can't name them.
I have a client mod so would that mean anything? Just wondering.
Please help.

Which client mod is it?
I doubt a client mod is doing this, it's something with your router

It can also be that someone else uses your key.
If that person joins the same server from a different location, you get that error.

don't fearmonger for no reason

it's probably your router acting up

Tell me what you get from connecting to http://auth.blockland.us/

it should just display a page with the words 'auth.blockland.us' on it

Nobody else knows my key.

Sorry, I'm kind of new to this, what is my router and how do I fix it?

Hey, I'd like to present all possible reasons.

Sorry, I'm kind of new to this, what is my router and how do I fix it?
Your router is the box that connects your network to the internet.
It is usually placed somewhere in a garage or next to the electricity box with all the switches.

I heard routers from AT&T have some problems with Blockland.

I have a portable internet device, I'm not sure if they use routers.

Okay, that's your problem. When having mobile Internet your IP is not stable

I have a portable internet device, I'm not sure if they use routers.
Then that is probably your issue.
It might be switching IPs quite a lot, making it seem you are connected from multiple locations.

I suggest trying to connect to an actual network to see if that really is the problem.

"Actual network" if OP doesn't understand this, he means a router that's at home

Don't have a router at home.
The portable Wi-Fi thing is the only internet I have, unless I'm at a friend's place.

That is what I mean.
Go test to see if it works at your friend if you are able.
If it works there flawlessly, then the problem definitely lies with the portable internet device.
