I prefer the charge axe, I like the ability to have quick attacks as well as slower strong ones, plus the ability to block is always nice.

Haven't played much past the first zone on 3ds 4, I like the light gun.

Sword and shield or that bug lance thingy (haven't played for a while).

I like the S&S because of how nimble it is, as well as being able to block practically everything, but I like the bug lance because I love how nimble it is as well, but you get a cool bug thing that flies with you :P

Another thing that occured to me was that each weapon "class" has two varients:

the swords have longsword and greatsword
the smaller swords have SnS and Dual Blades
the KO weapons have hammer and hunting horn

etc

I wonder what insect glaive will have to accompany it?
