So, Every save I've downloaded has been a notepad, and I'm not sure how to put it in saves correctly. (so it works.)

How do I put it in exactly? Thanks.

rightclick the link and do save link as and it'll download as a bls

noedit: if you didn't get it from a link you could copy all the text and put it into a notepad file and save it as a .bls

well then how do i open it as a regular bls file, because this is a notepad file that doesn't work ingame because it isn't a bls

You can open a .bls in notepad because it is just a bunch of text, which notepad can read.

If the save you downloaded isn't a .bls then what is its extension?
Can you try changing it to .bls?

Giving a link may also help us to find the problem.

have you never used notepad? it can convert specific files into readable text, but its all computer  language.

essentially a blockland save or bls is just a text file with the extension ".bls" instead of ".txt", it will work if you put it into your saves folder and restart blockland

on contrary, I use notepad for a large portion of my work
it's just what I could consider a/the "notepad file" is the executable, notepad.exe
notepad is just an interpreter of other files, I wouldn't call those other files "notepad files", since they're just files
