Author Topic: This means my headphone speaker is blown, right?  (Read 721 times)

Okay so I've recently been hearing buzzing (but there is still sound too) on my left headphone speaker, mostly when there is bass. I'm pretty sure that means it's blown.

I blame the Speedkarters on Blockland blasting music by standing on top of the finish camera.
Also right now I am moving around my head and I hear buzzing too.

You can change Blockland volume or disable music, you know.

How am I suppose to listen to sounds and music doing that? I need a volume limiter for Blockland is the problem.
Wasn't there a new version of the audio thing for Blockland that had a chance of breaking or not breaking?

I'm positive there is a medium between a sound being that loud and not being able to hear it.

Just turn the volume down.  If your headphones broke, either you bought cheap headphones, have the volume too high (likely), and/or you bought cheap headphones and then had the volume too high.

Protect your hearing.

There is a great big gap between third person music volume and people's feet touching the camera blasting music into Headphone users that are dying

My volume is just fine, the problem is the people on Speedkart blast music by walking onto cameras.
Protect your hearing.
I can't if people are corrupting it on Blockland.

Buy a new set of headphones and you should be set.

Try JVS' brand of over-ear headphones.

Thanks, it works well! But does it prevent lag because now I don't lag as much, either that it was something I did to my PC.

Can someone answer the OP question too?

no your headphones arent blown (unless they have multiple speaker/drivers in each side) because, if you blow a speaker that means you pumped too much current through the voil coil so that the voil coil frys

Oh so I'm using the wrong word? What would be the right words for my symptoms?
