Author Topic: Nvidia vs AMD brown townysis in Blockland  (Read 3865 times)

My next PC was originally going to have a GTX 970, but I'm replacing it with the new RX 480 that's coming out, as it's $100 cheaper and has specs roughly equivalent to a GTX 980 or a Fury X.
yeah it seems like a good card, just wait for benchmarks before deciding

the rx 480 is like the cheapmans gtx 1080 except it's full fledged
Except the 480 doesn't even get close to the 1080

2 of em do and they're way cheaper

except crossfire is terrible. a single card is far better

some games don't support it, most games have poor support, microstutter is rampant, tons of flickering issues or other graphical artifacts in games, heat/noise can become unbearable.... or just a single card that is 100% supported without issue. i choose the latter

cool if the Nvidia was like uhhhh 980Ti or the Titan X or new one 1080 then it would  be a tiny bit better mabye.

You dont need top of the loving line GPUs to play a mere game
Im starting to think you believe yourself to be a computer genius simply because you know what a Graphics Card is
