That's not simple in any shape or form. From what I gathered, you're meaning to imply that gender is based off of how people feel, right? How in any way does that make sense? Gender and biological love are two different things. Gender is the one you feel like, love is what you were born as. If you're born male but genuinely feel female, then you're still biologically male, but that doesn't make you a man. If you go through steps to be seen as your true gender, then there's no problem identifying as such. There's no pretending in it, the only pretending is the people who's love and gender don't match, but they try to tell themself that they're what they were born as physically.

generally any gender falls under identifying as female/male or something in between, although generally people who identify as in between are afraid/confused to transition fully to a different gender
you see a lot of people who identify as non-binary usually end up transitioning to a gender that does not match biologically with their love, however some people are non-binary and will never be comfortable identifying male or female and can go back and forth

generally if people start making up a bunch of different terms to identify as they are just trying to feel significant or interesting
most people with gender dysphoria are transgender, or haven't yet transitioned, but this doesn't account for all cases
