it's good that women are being encouraged more to engage in STEM activities. there was once a stigma that women couldn't do these things, and that stigma was, in some ways, still prevalent in society.
that being said, i remember seeing some stuff propaganda in the past about women in STEM that seemed less like, "women can learn in any field they like" and more like, "there are statistically less women in STEM than men, so get moving girls, you're either in STEM or you're wrong."
