Author Topic: starfish kills good fish and justice is served  (Read 5126 times)

yes i have fished and yes i understand how fish populations work
the man did deserve a fine, but the two guys acted ridiculously, picking a fight with the guy (over a damn fish) instead of getting a picture of him and his boat registration number and reporting him

please tell me how they picked a fight

they went over there and asked him why he did it and got mad when he started throwing bullstuff excuses, got his info, and then went away

they obviously expected an argument
they also posted the video online which is p ridiculous

they obviously expected an argument

no, they confronted him because they wanted to know why the forget he did that

no, they confronted him because they wanted to know why the forget he did that

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/confront
'to directly question the action or authority of (someone)'

"to deal with (something, such as a problem or danger); especially : to deal with (something) in an honest and direct way"

my definition is the most accurate

the point is there is no reason for them to have confronted him, or to get so loving angry over a fish, or to post a video of it online. report and move on. don't get so goddamn buttblasted over a fish.

or to get so loving angry over a fish, or to post a video of it online. report and move on. don't get so goddamn buttblasted over a fish.

Like I said earlier, they were probably mad because the muskellunge stock is likely low in that lake, making them a rare fish to catch under those circumstances. Muskies and Pikes are already very elusive and difficult to actually catch, making their reasoning behind being upset about someone killing one of them that much more valid.

i know i am

it's a fish

again you try to defuse the situation with this

it's a fish

If a passionate fisherman that is fishing for a specific fish species sees another person catch and kill that fish after having no luck all day, they're probably going to be pretty pissed. Just because you don't like fishing and think it's a trivial matter doesn't mean it's riduclous for people to be mad about it.

again you try to defuse the situation with this
ravencroft said they were probably upset because there were so few musky in the lake
"it's a fish" was then directed at the people who made the video

i do like fishing; that doesn't mean i'm going to start yelling at someone who kills a fish. if they catch it, it's their choice what they do with it.

he didn't just kill a fish you dummy
he killed it for loving no reason and then threw it back in the water
he didn't even eat it like what the forget
