For some reason when ever I alt tab out of blockland while hosting, it lags as soon as I return. Any ideas on what is causing this problem or how to solve it would be appreciated.

It's only when i'm hosting and i leave blockland do something then return. So no it's not a ram problem. Also i have 3 gigs of ram.

This is a common problem due to direct input resuming and hosting a server, you can't fix it.

Haha, its nothing to do with direct input resuming - you're just saying that because thats what it says in the console when you tab back into Blockland.

iv expeirenced this also, only difference was i wasnt hosting, is it a problem with blockland? or with the computer

Yeah, it's something like that - Windows allocates more ram to the active programs, so when you tab out of blockland it gets less memory allocated to it. I think.

Does it lag while you're tabbed, and if not - how long does it lag for when you return. And is this the same for everyone on the server?

If i host when ever i hover my mouse over the bl window it's visible and works fine. But when i click it lags for a second, "(not responding)" is added to the window's name for about 10-20 seconds, then the "(not responding)" is removed and a few seconds later the game returns to normal. This affects everyone on the server of course.
