Taking this thread seriously.
Humans single-handedly are the most terrifying animal this world has ever seen, possibly this galactic quadrant. They don't have the capacity to outrun the muscular beasts of the serengeti, or to match the strength of a bison, but they will track you until you run out of breath, and when you do, you lie down to rest, and by sunrise you will see them staring at you. You stride across the savana in hopes of loosing them, but in doing so, you take breaks to drink, to eat, and leave behind droppings. The next morning the humans appear like clockwork with their sharpened spears, muddy faces, and wilted eyes, eyes with something so alien, so unrecognizable and unreachable to an simple animal, something only Prometheus could have gifted, the knowledge of how to sense you further than any sense of smell or sight ever could, they walk towards you until you die.
They can even stride underwater, there is no hiding.
Also note that we can detect to some degree subatomic particles, we understand, as an animal on Earth, in existence, that we are made of gyrating particles, and we can unleash their energies on a super destructive level, to match volcanoes. A nuclear force that can be felt around the world three times.
I think we don't have gods anymore is because Prometheus understood what would happen when he handed down that solar flame. The gods fear us, soon we will inherit Olympus.
