I can probably make the panes coloured the same way as the default doors, if your only complaint is the colour.

Were you the maker of the old windows? I never knew why they were white, but having a color version would fit better (or, if possible, having the window separated from the frame, making the frame 1/3 tall)

I made them white originally as that seemed to be the most universal colour for the panes. I was also toying with the idea of having separate pane and frame bricks, but I decided against it as it would have interfered with zone bricks.
