shouldnt it be 1914

Would make sense since the first battlefield game was "battlefield 1942"

I love how black soldiers are prominently featured IF NOT the primary selling point despite actual black soldiers making up 1% of the actual fighting force in WW1

I wonder who could be behind this
I think I saw.. one? One black guy. Chill out.

It's not in the trailer. It's that he's on all the promotional art and on the front cover apparently.

He could possibly be the main character / the guy you play as

Probably is. Though it's odd because Africans made up something like 1% of the army and even then they were mostly engineers.

They better fix the fact that everything glowed like forget in Battlefield 4, in places where they shouldn't. Like, if a player was standing in a dark hallway, not only is their playermodel glowing like they're under a light, but in first person, the gun model is forgeted as well.
That annoys me more than it should.

They most likely chose this on purpose to possibly use it as a plot and story device since back then, (before the 60's) racism and segregation were still a major thing and it also happened within military units as well

Watching the Call of Duty trailer for the first time, I was like "I don't understand why people always rag on the graphics. It looks fine."
And I still hold that standpoint. It does look fine. 100% passable.

But DICE, even for some polished in-engine trailer, sure knows how to make something look beyond passable and dear I say it, maybe even life like. The colour, the smoke, the dust on the peoples faces. I appreciate how far they go to make something look good when they really don't have to go that far.

itt we're concerned with a black guy being a main protagonist despite a faulty percentage with no source.

its [current year] loving degenerates.

Now the question is if I can run this game.

The black guy is from a DLC pack iirc

zero gameplay

I saw a second of gameplay around 0:29. The smoke effects are awful for 2016, and I hope they polish up the building destruction before release.

Wait at 0:29 why does the guy have a mobile machine gun? Weren't automatic guns only limited to being mounted on the ground due to the recoil and weight?

There were mobile versions of mgs.
