Author Topic: Mount & Blade: Warband -- What's your favorite mod?  (Read 707 times)

Been playing the game LOADS over the past week, I want to know your favorite mods. Personally I love ACOK 2.1

I've poured almost a thousand hours into this game alone. I will link you the best mods.

Empire III: Campaign.

Notes: Probably one mod with one of the biggest factions lists ever conceived in a mount and blade game.

Prophecy of Pendor.
http://www.moddb.com/mods/saxondragon
Notes: A little light fantasy and custom storyline and quests. You're able to manage your relation with factions as apposed to joining them to get better rewards ect.

Bellum IMperii.
http://www.moddb.com/mods/bellum-imperii
Notes: The good ol' roman age. One of the best mods for a Euro-like experience. Contains factions from all of Europe.

Floris Evolved or Any Floris-inspired mod.

Notes: Add OSP packs to Native and overalls the game in a very minimalist way. Essentially a touch up mod to get a better native experiance.

Warsword Contuest.

Notes: Whats left of the fantasy warhammer series is jam packed into this mod. Multiple unique races and weapons create a heavy fantasy like feel but also retains native's charm as a warband game. Also the bugless-final version is on the horizon in just a few weeks.

L'Aigle.

Notes: 1800th century war never looked prettier. One of the more visually stunning mods for warband.

Perisno.
http://www.moddb.com/mods/perisno
Notes: A slight fantasy conversion mod, not for the faint of heart because it's hell within the first 50 days or so.

Anno Domini.
http://www.moddb.com/mods/anno-domini-1257
Notes: One of the more historically accurate mods for warband. Centered around the 12th century. Also covers most of Europe.

Nova Aetas
http://www.moddb.com/mods/nova-aetas
Notes: A mod where you experience the vanishing of the old medieval age as the game progresses. You're able to colonize the "new world" islands when you have the money and power and create your own kingdom.

I feel like those will give you the best experience but here are a few other names to check out if they are not up to your standard.
Tohlobaria.
Blood in the west mod.
1860's Old America (Slightly buggy).

Awesome list! Got anything for TLOTR? Or perhaps the American Civil war?

Blood in the west is pretty much LOTR.

There's really not a good depiction of the American Civil war mod aside from 1860's old america, since there are wars going on throughout then.
