I heard that it got kind of cruddy halfway through because it started focusing too much on romance.

imo it added to the humor aspect of the series.

you can't blame something just cause it has a good enough idea that everyone has to copy it.

my point is that if a mahou shoujo anime goes dark, it's not even a twist anymore.

i'm still gonna watch it though, but the shock value just isn't there anymore.

I finally started watching Mikakunin de Shinkoukei. It's pretty fun, I think all the girls are cute.

Something about the scenery and plot makes me oddly depressed though. I'll have to watch it slowly so I don't get overwhelmed.

Yeah, I like it a lot too. The characters look very smooth and sleek. The filter they use looks good.

The second season's gonna be great. The events of the first season will seem downright minor compared to what happens in the second. The manga is so far ahead that we're gonna need a third season to catch up completely.

Started (ironically) watching attack on Titan Jr high but it was sillier than I imagined so I'm gonna watch it more.
It's the same idea as AoT just in a more kid-friendly theme which makes some of the scenes much sillier once you know/realize the original context.

Based on what you told me last time, I'd say you were around chapter 36 or so. Things get really intense really quick. I'd definitely recommend finishing it.
