For my Journalism II final I have to interview a unique minority group. Last year I did Flat-Earthers. Now I'm doing furries. If you're a furry, responding would be greatly appreciated.
You're info will be anonymous when used. If you want to, feel free to PM it too.
1. What animal do you associate with and why?
2. When and how did you become/learn you were a furry?
3. Have you ever attended a furry convention? If so: What did you think of it? If not: What do you think of them?
4. Do you think there were any "signs" of being a furry at a young age, such an an obsession with a particular animal or anything like that?
edit: Longer is definitely better. Grammar doesn't matter, as I'll be rewriting it in proper English.
1. Wolf, I tend to identify with the animal that is associated with the term lone wolf. I enjoy being away from others most of the time, doing activities and work by myself for the most efficiency. But even then a wolf can still work in a pack, this leads into me working well with close friends and family.
2. Easy, I showed a large affinity for anthropomorphic animals in my early teens. They were cool and can act like humans, but have other animalistic qualities too like fur (I have a soft spot for fluffy and soft things).
3. I have never been to a con before and I envy others that have. I see it to be like a huge meet and greet but with furries and tons of vendors.
4. I was always around dogs and canines were my favorite animals to begin with. Animals facinated me and I always wondered what it would be like to be one of them as a child. Other animals are cool, they can push all sorts of limits and make us compare our humanity to them. I guess you could say it was the pure curiosity of it all.
