Author Topic: are these kicks worth 200 dollars  (Read 11170 times)

they'd be ok if they were bowling shoes

even then ehh

Loving sneakers doesn't make us stupid. It just means we love sneakers. So why the forget are you calling us 'stupid black people' for following a trend?

Also lol the new jordans look kinda weird. Go with what alternative said and get the 14s if anything

because while its true, its being done to any race. black people are the most obvious (in the us) for this.
because im not talking about the old black struggles of rights and human dignity. they suffered and made the change they wanted and were amazing for it. it would be awesome to still have these types of black people around still.

but all black culture now. is created by white men to make money.
black people today identify by brands in a disgusting way. and live far to consumer dependently for a statistically impoverished group.

now despite my views, i dont give a forget about fair trade. so...
jordan exploits black kids for decades, by branding 10 dollar slave made shoes that he sells for hundreds. all his great achievements as a black role model has been diminished completely. but black people seemed to not have noticed this.

white corporate elites sell liquor and cars by forcing contracted hip hop artists to tell black people what defines a black person per product to buy.
and black people fall for it... always.

so its not some personal racism i have that makes this an issue for me. i see a statistically dumb group that is easy to market to. and they prove me right so i have no guilt.

but those new jords though...

Sorry to dismiss your whole speech about consumerism and everything. I agree that young black men are the easiest to market to as they try desperately to keep up with the popular culture (pop music is really black). But, there's nothing wrong with us wasting copious amounts of hard earned money on shoes, whips and kayne collections as compared to food for our 10-20 children and wives. We follow the trends and love the attention that it brings to us. Consider it a 'hopeless case' if you will.

My opinion: as long as i can walk in first period tomorrow with the freshest kicks on planet earth i'm all gucci. idgaf about my starving daughter and SAT scores and i shouldn't be judged for such. it dont matter how much they cost, as long as i feel like the big man i'm perfectly k with throwing out last month's paycheck

The shoes were first produced in 1917 as the "All Star," Converse's attempt to capture the basketball shoe market.

i think these contradict eachother

I wouldn't spend hundreds on footwear unless they're high quality formal wear, or are going to save my life (like hiking/mountaineering boots).

You're wasting a lot of money if you're spending loads to impress the kids at the skate park.

those aren't kicks those are richards

I spent $100 on a skateboard. If it your hobby, and it's worth your money, then go for it. There's no need to justify your collectibles to people who don't share your interests.

Put if you want my opinion you could probably buy like 6 pairs of durable outdoor boots which will probably last you until you die with that money lmfao

this man is woke

impress the kids at the skate park.
Skate parks are for the white kids but real brothers live in the trap

once again path pretending to sound cool and black

In my opinion no shoes are worth over two-hundred dollars unless they have gold or some sort of REAL jewlery or are worn by the creator himself and are signed
