The price isn't really that important in the long run, considering everything that will be put in place to stop losing money to Mexico, which will also itself discourage illegal immigration.
can you explain a bit better how we're losing money to mexico? i know we have a trade deficit, but that's not really a public issue or a major macroeconomic problem in the long run. i'm not really a fan of the wall idea personally, even if it solved some domestic economic problems it would definitely raise problems with foreign relationships, which can also cause some economic strain depending on how mexico responded.
i also don't really tend to believe that immigration is incredibly harmful in the grand scheme of things anyway; it allows our economy to be supplied with more labor (esp. low skill labor that we don't have enough of), which promotes growth. i also live in a town that has a pretty large immigrant population and my dad teaches elementary school at a school that's almost entirely kids from those families, and that stuff is wild man, i can't help but be sympathetic. they're coming all the way to alabama of all places to get away from their countries, and i wouldn't feel right if they were just told to forget off. also it'd probably hurt our local economy pretty bad since they definitely do work
Vicente fox threatened war or something if Annoying Orange was elected lmao
and I thought they were getting along too
i thought that he retracted that statement and apologized or smth recently but that May have been something/someone else
