he means that 2016 isnt really a "date", just a year

The description of the gameplay video says "...new content planned for a year after launch...", does this mean that XV2 will have DLC? If so, what kind of DLC? Im hoping for a GT story that does more than just retell it, give me SS4 Gohan, adult Gotenks, and maybe even SS Pan?

I'm sure it'll be the same scenario with how XV did its dlc. Wait a couple of months to see if people are still playing the game and then tease the idea of a brand new DLC. Honestly the GT and Resurrection F DLCs weren't bad and even hotpatched the game to make it a bit better overall. Considering XV2 is literally XV and the information we have from bandai, its possible that this could be the biggest (in terms of content and replay ability) dragon ball yet. I mean think about it. The engine is there, the mechanics are still there, everything down to the code and models are still present. And Dimps already confirmed that they started working on XV2 After the DLCS, we can assume they've put two years of content into this game already. I wouldn't get my hopes up for a perfect roster or the perfect gameplay but it looks much faster as well as the hit detection actually being on point this time.

Its safe to assume this will probably be way more successful than the first XV game and it might even spawn another sequel if it does well.

yeah you're right, however, with the introduction of Super, im assuming that some dlc will be of that, since the series is far from over and im sure fans will want to see those stories in the game. I think you're right though, this has the potential of being the greatest Dragonball game yet

I want one-armed Future Gohan pls

There's actually a reason for that, i learned of it yesterday. Japan and its new stuffty censorship laws prevent a fair rating if characters are dismembered or show signs of dismemberment which is hypocritical in the sense that freiza's tail is cut off in the new game. Then again freiza isn't "human" so i guess alien characters get the cut? But it's also hypocrisy in itself again because if you remember in the very first missions of Xenoverse, you had to assist krillin in cutting off Vegeta's tail.

I think it may just be the model, placeholder or not. He doesn't use his "missing" hand at all for anything if you look closely, all his moves tie into his working hand/legs. It's possible armless gohan will be in the game under a different character tab.

It's kinda similar to the JoJo anime censorship, can't show a fork stuck in a person's face but if a dog is mutilated, its ok

Also, I've been told that it's harder to make one armed character model?
